Is parking included?

Each of our homes has an attached 2 car garage, free for your use and ultra convenient. It will accommodate 2 standard sized vehicles and, when paired with a standard sized car, it will even fit larger SUVs. The garage remote will be available for your use as well.

Do you offer wifi?

We have free wifi in each home. The wifi name and password can be found in the welcome book that you can review when you arrive. We offer a robust multimedia package including AT&T Uverse with upgraded internet speed, 200+ channels, DVRs, and On-Demand shows. We also offer access to our Netflix account.

Are there any taxes?

The City of Anaheim passed a law in 2014 that requires Short Term Rentals to charge a transient occupancy tax of 15% for all nights reserved after July 1st, 2015. If your travel dates are before that date, no taxes are due. If your travel dates are after that date, you will be required to pay the tax. All hotels in the area also charge this tax, with the hotels in the Resort Area of Anaheim charging a 17% tax.

Is it really walking distance?

Yes! We make this walk often and it really is walking distance. Obviously walking speeds will vary, but we find that it is about 25 minutes. The walk goes up West Street, along side the Convention Center until you cross Katella Avenue, after which you will be walking on Disney property. You'll then cross West Street and enter through security at the west end of Downtown Disney. You then proceed through Downtown Disney to the entrances to the parks. There are shuttle stops within walking distance as well, but we find that by time you wait, board, and ride, the walk is faster. A hybrid approach would be to make the walk in the morning and then catch a taxi or an Uber car for the trip home. These are typically quick, inexpensive rides.

Do you provide detergent and soaps?

We do. The laundry suite will be stocked with laundry detergent, Oxy Clean and dryer sheets. Our bathrooms are stocked with Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We also provide dishwasher detergent and dish soap.

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is 4pm and Check out is 10am.

When will my deposit be refunded?

Deposits are refunded within 21 days, but we are typically much faster than that - somewhere around a week or so after departure. We have moved away from the refundable deposit model, so this may not apply to all reservations.

Is the pool heated? What are the hours?

The pool is heated via solar panels, so the temperature varies with the ambient temperature and the weather. The large hot tub is heated to a consistent temperature year round. The pool area is open from 9am to 9pm, seven days a week.

How do I get the keys?

We have equipped our homes with electronic door locks so there is no need to meet to exchange keys. We will send you a private code prior to your arrival and you can let yourself in whenever you drive (after check in time of course). We find that this is not only more secure, but much more convenient.

Does the HOA have any rules that I need to be aware of?

Yes, the HOA does have rules that each tenant must adhere to, but they are in keeping with the city regulations and our own house rules. A copy of those rules will be sent to you at booking and another copy will be available in the home. Additionally, a copy can be downloaded HERE .

What is Accidental Damage Protection or Damage Waiver?

Accidental Damage Protection is a small non-refundable charge in lieu of a large refundable deposit. This charge covers up to $1,500 in accidental damage that might occur to the home during your stay. Additional details are provided in our rental agreement.
